Favepath Privacy Policy

OK Birdie LLC · Effective date: October 1st, 2026

This policy explains how the Favepath app for iPhone ("Favepath", "the app") handles your information. Favepath is published by OK Birdie LLC ("OK Birdie", "we", "us"). Our website and company-wide practices are covered separately at https://www.kbirdie.com/privacy-policy. Where the two differ, this policy governs Favepath.

The short version

• Favepath has no accounts and no servers of ours. What you save stays on your iPhone.

• We do not collect, sell or share your personal information, and we do not track you.

• Favepath contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software.

• Some features rely on Apple services (Maps, Weather), which receive the information needed to answer your request.

• Information reaches us only if you choose to email us.

Information stored on your device

Favepath stores the following on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. We cannot see or access it.

• Places you save, including their names, addresses and map coordinates

• Whether you have visited a place, and when you marked it visited

• Your ratings, reviews and private notes

• Photos you add to places and trips

• Trips and routes you create

• Your profile: the name, photo, banner image, location and bio you choose to enter (all optional)

• App settings, such as distance units and appearance

Location

If you allow it, Favepath uses your location only while you are using the app, to:

• show saved places near you and your current city,

• show local weather,

• start a dropped pin where you are, and

• point the map in the direction you are facing.

Favepath does not record a history of where you have been, and we never receive your location. You can turn location access off at any time in iOS Settings; some features will then be limited.

Apple services

Favepath uses services provided by Apple. When you use these features, your iPhone sends Apple the information needed to respond, which can include a location or a search term:

• Apple Maps (MapKit) for the map, place search, addresses and travel times

• Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for local weather

• Apple Maps app when you ask for directions or open a place there

• App Store when you choose to rate Favepath

Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/. We do not receive it.

Photos

When you add a photo, Favepath receives only the photos you select; it cannot browse your photo library. Copies are stored in the app's storage on your device. If you use "Save image", Favepath adds an image to your photo library; this permission lets the app add images only, not read them.

Sharing

When you tap Share, Favepath creates an image of a place card. It contains only what the preview shows, which can include the place, your rating and review, and, if you choose to include them, your name and profile photo. The image goes only to the app or person you select. We do not receive it. Private notes are never included.

Contacting us

If you send us feedback by email, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and the details the app adds to help us diagnose problems: the Favepath version, your iOS version and your iPhone model. We use this only to respond to you and improve the app. We keep it only as long as needed for that purpose, and you can ask us to delete it.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, Favepath's data is included in that backup. Backups are controlled by you and handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Diagnostics and TestFlight

We do not collect analytics from Favepath. If you have chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with crash and performance reports that do not identify you. If you use a pre-release version through Apple's TestFlight, Apple provides us with crash reports and any feedback you submit, together with the email address you used to join.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal information.

• We do not use your information for advertising.

• We do not track you across apps or websites.

• We do not share your information with third parties, because we do not receive it.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you remove it. Deleting a place, rating, note, photo, trip or route in Favepath removes it from the app. Deleting the Favepath app removes all of its data from your iPhone. Copies may remain in backups you have made until those backups are replaced or deleted. Because we hold no copy of your Favepath data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side, other than emails you have sent us.

Security

Your Favepath data is protected by the security features of your iPhone, including its passcode and encryption. No method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Favepath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information that a company holds about you. Because Favepath's data is stored only on your device, you control it directly. For information you have sent us by email, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Favepath handles information, for example by adding optional sync between your devices, we will update this policy and its effective date before the change takes effect. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
